Raise your hand if you have been staying up late these past few nights anxiously awaiting election results! 🙋‍♀️Â
This smoothie is the perfect pick-me-up! Bananas are an energy booster packed with potassium and fiber. Chia seeds are considered a 'super food' because they're full of protein and fiber. And of course the coffee adds a nice kick. If you make cold brew coffee, or pre-refrigerate your hot coffee, this smoothie takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. Cheers!Â

Serving Size:Â 1 16oz mason jar
Ingredients
- Brewed Coffee (1/2 cup)
- 1 Banana
- Chia Seeds (1 tbsp)
- Almond Milk (1/2 cup)Â
- Cinnamon (1 tsp)
- Ice (1.5 cup)
Directions
- Brew coffee (either cold brew, or regular brew and set in fridge to cool)
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
- Optional: make it alcoholic! Add some coffee liquor if you'd like, I won't tell.Â
- Voila! A delicious and caffeinated smoothie!Â
