Design is in the details
Why Silicone?Simply put, Silicone is the only premium material for an eco-conscious koozie. No animal hides or petroleum products here. Just plentiful and easily sourced elements. Silicone can withstand temperatures from below-zero to over 400ºF, is non-toxic and contains no BPA. It can be microwaved. It can be dishwashed. It can be dropped. It can be baked in the oven. It can be thrown off a tall building or from a moving car (although you may have to replace the mason jar inside).
Our PhilosophySustainability means using less
This is why we focus on the mason jar - one of the most versatile and reusable products out there. From canning, dry food storage, home decor, and drinkware, the mason jar has hundreds of uses.
Meet the Masterminds behind Mason-re
Eric grew up in Denver, CO and has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado. When he isn’t creating awesome mason jar accessories, he is a law student at the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR. Eric’s an outdoors junkie and spends his free time skiing, kayaking and camping (with a mason jar in hand, of course).
Chief Marketing Officer
Nicole is Eric’s younger sister and (not surprisingly) also grew up in Denver, CO. She has an undergraduate degree in Communications from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She’s the marketing and social media guru of the team. When she isn’t spreading the word about Mason-re, she does marketing in the music industry. Nicole’s a bluegrass junkie and in her free time, she hosts a bluegrass radio show on a community station in New Orleans (also with a mason jar in hand).
Chief Operating Officer
Adrian is a dedicated eco-entrepreneur with a penchant for cutting-edge products that make life better, such as Mason-re and WallPots (vertical planting systems). He grew up in Oregon and has a degree from the University of Oregon Business School and enjoys surfing, snowboarding, gardening, growing endangered coral species, and music. He loves to share his passion for Mason-Re with others, and has a hand in the design, sales, and marketing of our products - in his other hand he has a colorfully-koozied mason jar filled with herbal tea!
Keep your jars safe while being eco-friendly at home, in the car, camping or anywhere you go (a farm maybe?!)
Of all the mason jar-related inventions, the Mason-re koozie is my favorite.
